About the Church

About the Pastor

Pastor Clint was born and raised in Port Charlotte, FL. He went to Meadow Park Elementary, Port Charlotte Middle, and graduated from Port Charlotte High School.

Pastor Clint came to faith in Jesus at the age of five in Sunday School. In fourth grade, he was greatly influenced by a Sunday School teacher who taught how important God's Word (Bible) is in our lives. It does not matter what the denomination, church, pastor say - the Bible is the final word. At the age of 16, God confirmed his calling "to minister to the body of Christ."

At the age of 17, he graduated high school and went to Toccoa Falls Bible College in Georgia. He graduated with a 4-year degree in Bible & Theology. He then pursued a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After graduating, he went on to complete a Doctor of Ministry from Knox Theological Seminary.

Pastor Clint was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1995 by First Baptist Church of Orlando.

He married Jennifer in 2006, and they have three teenage children.

Pastor Clint has served in different roles in the Church (Children's Pastor, Youth & Family Pastor, Associate Pastor, as well as Senior Pastor) at different churches. Most recently, he served as pastor of Punta Gorda Alliance Church for almost 20 years and a house church in Lake Suzy for over a year before coming to serve as pastor at First Baptist Church Charlotte Harbor.

Pastor Clint has been involved in running & teaching in Christian Schools & College, as well as leading many mission trips, and is also active in prison as a chaplain.
